PET CARE LEADER’S WEBSITE STRENGTHENS RELATIONSHIP WITH BUSINESS PARTNERS & CUSTOMERS

Problem /
For over a century, 8 in 1 has manufactured specialty pet care products – offering more than 1200 items through an international network of distributors and resellers. But despite its position as an industry leader, 8 in 1 was overlooking the web’s potential as a marketing and sales tool. A rudimentary corporate website existed, but it offered little value to channel partners or to pet owners. Recognizing the need for comprehensive upgrades, 8 in 1 asked us to help.

Solution /
Because the client’s goals were ambitious, we devised a roadmap to rollout upgrades in incremental steps. In Phase 1, we designed a new look-and-feel, along with a site structure that accommodates a photo-enhanced product catalog and informational resources. The catalog was implemented as a dynamic, database-driven system – complete with administrative functions to simplify changes in product listings.

Results /
Now, with real-time access to up-to-date product details, 8 in 1’s far-flung distributors and resellers can complete the call-in order process more quickly and accurately than ever. In the future, online ordering capabilities and other advanced features will make it even easier to conduct business with the company.
