HIGH-TECH STARTUP GAINS TRACTION WITH INTEGRATED BRANDING AND WEB DESIGN

Problem /
When Persist Technologies was founded in 2002, it sought to establish itself quickly as a legitimate contender in the enterprise storage arena. The company had a solid business model, but to compete with recognized competitors, it also required a polished, professional brand image and web presence. That’s when we stepped in to provide design direction and development assistance.

Solution /
To reflect Persist’s mission of “information access made simple,” we developed a crisp, clean visual motif for the company’s identity, stationery treatments and print collateral. Then we extended that concept to the website’s page templates and intuitive structural scheme. Imagery, color palette, typography, navigational cues and other visual elements all worked together to support a “less is more” framework.

Further underscoring the brand’s “simple-but-powerful” pledge, we developed the site with advanced tools and technologies. This made it possible for Persist to match its larger competitors in shipping speed and breadth of products. In addition, we minimized file size throughout the site, so visitors could enjoy speedy access to all online resources.

Results /
With a consistent, compelling, high-performance “face” that embodied its brand essence across all media, Persist Technologies was soon conducting business on equal footing with recognized players.
