BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/SALES CONSULTANT
(Full commission – Potential PT or FT salary)
Role:
Assist the founder
in identifying high-quality business leads and converting those leads to
accounts. Success will depend upon your ability to accurately
set expectations among prospects, and ensure a smooth transition into an
ongoing client/agency relationship.
Although you’ll begin with a commission-only fee structure, the position
is expected to become a PT or FT salaried position within months. Tasks can
be performed in a telecommuting mode, with likely bi-weekly status/planning
meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven sales track record with service organizations
- Ability and desire
to listen to prospects’ needs and interpret
them accurately
- Articulate, engaging presentation style
- Resourceful in researching leads,
and relentless in gaining access to decision makers
- A killer closer with
excellent follow-through and solid communication skills
- An honest, self-motivated
team player
- Basic understanding of Internet technologies and the web development
process is preferred
Primary Duties:
- Target appropriate prospects
- Develop/nurture leads
- Work with management to prepare project proposals
and close deals
- Manage relationships effectively until project kickoff transition
