COPYWRITING CONSULTANT
Role:
On a project basis, you’ll define and develop content for a wide
range of client projects, including printed collateral and websites. Working
closely with design and engineering consultants and with our clients, you’ll
produce copy that reflects key messages and engages audiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a copywriter or editor,
with 2+ years writing for digital media
- Proven ability to extract, synthesize
and organize information into crisp, structured, conversational language
- Strong
interpersonal skills and comfort working “from a distance” with
a virtual design team and with a variety of clients
- Experience
working with technology companies and a basic understanding of web project
management
- Undergraduate degree in English, journalism or similar discipline
- Strategic
marketing and web usability know-how are preferred
Primary Duties:
- Help clients define their core communication goals, and refine
their messaging if needed
- Map content strategy to ensure that copy properly
supports web and print designs
- Work with team members and clients to ensure
the seamless integration of all written, visual and interactive elements
- Ensure
flawless copy quality by applying rigorous attention to detail and command
of the English language
